so i have started taking elite a lot more seriously, and i want a group of people to play with.

abit about me

my previous game was warthunder( lead the no1 uk team, but im fed up of the game,
i have played its since early access beta i have large assets and i want a group to play with so what is there out there

Yeah, well you should say what kind of gameplay do you like.....Combat, trader, Explorer, etc.?? For what activity do you want a crew? Do you play PvE or PvP?

Your best bet would be to have a look on http://inara.cz/wings, as most, but not all of the games groups, have their information on their. I can recommend the Paladin Consortium, as they are a large and very active group (I am biased, as i am one of its leaders!).

I reached a point like you, OP, a few months in where I was trying to engage more in the social aspects of the game.

I ended up joining the Earth Defense Fleet as a casual player and have since engaged in several fleet Ops that were incredibly fun and entertaining.


We have bounty Hunters, Missionaries, Traders, Explorers, (A couple smugglers), as well as a few players who are almost always wanted. Any play style, any game mode is most welcome.


It's a Federation Group, Aligned with Hudson but we haven't done much with PP for a while - mostly fighting off Mahon expansions in adjacent systems, though now that we're in ZH space everything has been quiet at home lately.

Our home starport is also has an excellent ship yard and outfitters, with an even better outfitters nearby. It's a very convenient home base.

Delta Squadron is expanding, we have serious and not so serious players. We hang out and do whatever, you will find it all, some of our group handles the BGS (background sim), that is how we been able to expand our control systems. But you always find someone to wing up with or to answer any game questions. We have members who are into PvP, personally that's not my thing. Our rules are simple, 18+ and no pirating other commanders, although pirating NPCs is OK. We are a non griefing group. In our control systems we have pristine reserves if you like mining, or plenty of Haz Res for bounty hunting. We have explorers and traders, as well as ship build specialists. We use Discord for comms, you can locate us in Inara as well.

If PVE is your thing I have to recommend mobius group

18,000 members of thereabouts, very friendly, very fun.. especially around CG's where you run into tons of players!

The Hutton Truckers are about the best group out there.... crazy fun :)

And we have a radio station.... and Mugs. We are a bastion of PwP.... player WITH player gaming. None of this 'v' stuff... it is about who you spend your free time WITH that is important....
