Looking for a roleplaying squadron

Hello all,

I am an on-again, off-again player who has returned for Odyssey and I am looking to play longer term now. I feel like Odyssey has significantly increased the RP potential for the game. When I say RP, I don't just mean playing a role like pirate, smuggler, etc but playing a character with a backstory, embodying that character, etc. This is something I have a long history with in other online games but have never had the opportunity to do in Elite.



I don't know much about my character just yet so I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. I do know I'm not aligned with any one superpower, but with Sirius Corp.

The folks in our squadron pursue a variety of paths in game.

The faction does have a backstory which lends itself to roleplaying opportunities, including the flexibility to take your character in any direction you like (with the only caveat being respectul and consenting conduct). Role players and storytellers are encouraged..... it's #9 on our list of who would fit our group.

A number of our group have experience with both computer and pen and paper RPGs (D&D, etc.). I used to DM back in the day (and recently purchased fith edition D&D, which I would recommend if you haven't checked out).
