Looking for a Station!

Hello CMDR's

I decided to take some time out of combat to see some sights, I am off to Betelgeuse in a round about way, i have been travelling for a good number of days now taking the scenic route. I've pretty much lost count now of how many systems I have visited and scanned. It has been quite an interest trek, but one thing I have not seen so far is another space station or another ship CMDR or NPC for that matter.

Just wondering if there is actually anything out there away from Sol and the surrounding systems.

If anyone has a system in the Betelgeuse vicinity that has a station i would appreciate it.

There are one, maybe two specific systems out past inhabited space that have anything going on in them, and I don't recall what or where they are. Aside from that, once you're more than about 100LY out from civilised space, don't expect to see any signs of habitation whatsoever.

That's a shame, would be good to stumble upon some scientific stations in some astronomically interesting systems.

Consider signing up to the Lonely Explorers' Friends List if you haven't already. My last exploration voyage was curtailed so I never got round to it, but having a set of others explorers showing on your Galaxy Map can make it seem a less lonely journey.
