I have been playing in private groups since my space dorito days a year and a half ago.
I decided to go into open play yesterday to see what it was like at the alien crash site,
I wasn't prepared for my immediate demise. As soon as I loaded in I was under fire from players above.
It was... FUN! I've never had a thrill like that in solo. I struggled to grasp the situation as it happened.
So many things were exploding around me, as I took off I tried to evade and retaliate. Chaff! Heatsink! Afterburners! Shields!!!
I was yelling at my ship, commanding it what to do as I dodged laser and rocket fire. but it was too late.
within only seconds of takeoff I was ejected.
I don't question why the commander killed me.
Killing other players is just apart of the game! Pirating, bounty hunting, Combat Rank Experience, or even just for sport.
What I am asking, is to find a group out there. Teamspeak, discord, etc. that is dedicated to protecting other commanders.
Protecting CG's, events, hotspots... from people who would seek to do harm.
Not really sure what playing in that kind of role would be called.
Though In my opinion that would be fun!
