Looking for both a VR headset and Hotas with a £300 budget

I've recently got on board the ED VR experience.. It really is something else.

The Anaconda is brilliant in VR - for me it has the best 'full bridge' feel of any of the ships.

Good luck with your HOTAS and VR purchases - let us know what you ended up with (and if it works!)

T-flight HOTAS X and Pimax 4K, not very sure about Pimax though, some people love it in Elite, some people can`t even setup it properly.

My secondary rig has a gtx 970, dk2 and hotas-x and it works great.

I would recommend that you go for a 2nd hand cv1, rather than the dk2 if possible.

The resolution is somewhat low but fully playable, i played using my dk2 for a year before getting the vive.

@ the OP - glad you got a rift, that was a bit of a steal given your budget, but if you are still in the market for a cheap hotas, I'd highly recommend that instead of a hotas you go dualstick, a pair of t16000's is an awesome combo and can be had quite cheaply if buying used.

Yeah very happy with how much it cost and definitely agree that it was a steal. I'm starting to finally earn a bit if money now so my hotas options won't be so limited. The t16000 does look cool so I'm debating either going for the x52 pro (heard that the spring is prone to breaking though) or the t16000 either with the throttle and stick or two sticks. The dual sticks looks like a lot more fun for some reason lol.

Got the x52 pro on my main rig, been using it since november 2016 and its great, there is a little slop in the centering of the stick after a maybe 200-300 hours of play but no drifting yet.

Ive also been looking at the T.16000M FCS HOTAS and i would really like to try having all those HAT switches, if my x52 breaks im getting the fcs hotas to try, the only thing its missing, without direct experience with it is the pinky button on the stick.
