Newcomer / Intro Looking for friendly home

Hi All, I'm a noob, only been playing for few days but I like it. Looking for somewhere peaceful with good markets to settle. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Use Inara.cz to find a system with a 5000 Cr per unit or more return trading run. Settle in and make some credits and take some easy missions. Depending on what you want to do in game. Aim for a Type 6 as a trader or AspX as an explorerer or miner. In combat, er, ask someone else, loads are good. Make progress at your own speed there's lots to do. Plenty of useful youtube advice around too.

"Peaceful" is relative. High traffic newbie systems like Deciat and Shinrarta attract a certain kind of player who seem to get off on shooting up the helpless. On the other hand, I have been doing a bit of PowerPlay these days, kicking the space , and saw a couple of player Anacondas (aligned to that power) drop off the radar rapidly.
Most systems with low player traffic are reasonably peaceful, even in Open. Anarchy systems should be handled with a bit of care ( or flipped, but don't announce that here unless you want heavy opposition).

Hi Maggie, I have no idea. How can I tell? lol

Which mug did you buy?

I was based in Wolf 54 until recently - trading there made me rich. Two large stations with different economies (extraction, agricultural) both with 200ls of the sun and within 200ls of one another. I got allied with all the factions, then took trade missions either between the two stations, or between the stations and the planet's surface, or with a couple of other, local (one jump) systems. One station (Souper Matt) has been in famine for ages. I was getting trade missions at 3-6m cr for one jump, stacking them, then filling up my spare capacity (Cutter, 664T) with either food or minerals or tech (if out of system) and selling it on. Was making 20-40m cr per jump, both directions, day in, day out. Only left as I'm heading up to Colonia. I never saw another human Commander the whole time I was there. All the systems are High Security so if you do need some help the cops are quick to turn up. Easy money, happy days! So I'd recommend it. It's also on the right side of the Bubble for a trip to Colonia. Can't go wrong!
