Looking for help with Map Creation

Hi guys,

Looking for help with the Map Creator, read the instructions and followed along, maybe overlooked this but I am having three problems.

1. The bright green effect that certain textures and inclines give off. What is this? How can I get rid of it barring using decals, cliff brush or grass textures. (Which don't always work, nor work with certain environment themes.)
2. On one of my maps, the entire screen went green. Don't know what I did to make it do that but the whole screen is green and I can't see anything.
3. My 'objects' disappear when I place them on the map. What is causing this? Props are fine, but anything from the object tab disappears. I have tried fiddling with thier spawn settings, the objects themselves (Church, town, crates, soldiers, spawn flags, everything) but they all still disappear.

I am new to modding and the only map creation I have done is in game in other games or older games like Stronghold and Battle for Middle Earth with simpler streamlined UI. Thanks, any help will be most welcome. The pictures below show the problems.

Edit: Figured out that I have to load the objects onto the map. So no longer need help with that.
