Newcomer / Intro Looking For Microbial Furnaces

Hi, I have a mission to get 10 microbial furnaces I started at LHS 3447 but I cannot find any location that has this item. Any suggestions?

In the Galaxy Map, go to [VIEW]
at the top, click on [MAP]
check the [show trade routes] box
then click on [CLEAR]
then click on the arrow next to Machinery
then select Microbial Furnaces...

this will show route arrows... furnaces will be or should be available at the systems where the arrows originate...
remember to check the different stations in any given system, some may be different economy based.

If I remember rightly, you can buy microbial furnaces at High Tech stations. Sargon's advice is better though since its applicable to almost any commodity.

I'm not seeing where the new info shows up. I've checked the relevant boxes, but can't see anything that changes when I toggle trade routes on/off.

OK try this... open up the commodities panel... up in the right corner is a drop down box labelled galactic averages... open it up and you get a drop down lost of planets that are accessible from where you are at. choose each one -- one at a time and go down the list of commodities that are exported to or imported from.
keep looking for what you need... if it is not there then you will need to open the galaxy map and do a manual check of stars and their stations (lots of wasted work)

Before you take those missions... check for availability first (easy money is sometimes not so easy).. It is much easier to make a trade route between several stations and work the import / export market.
