Looking for safe and profitable trade route

To be honest that is the only safe and profitable route I have found. Every time I go off and try and find another cash cow route I end up either losing cash/time or get destroyed with a full value cargo dumping me back at a loss due to the insurance bug. This has happened to me twice now.
I can make 30k a round trip between Chango/Aulin which isn't a patch on the high yield routes but it's reliable.
What items do you trade to make that kind of credits? I am transporting Fish from Chango to Aulin and Agri Meds from Aulin to Chango using my Sidewinder until I can get a ship with more hauling space.
There is many but its dependant what ship you are flying and the jump range you have.
But an safe system that any ship can reach is trading between Ovid and Chi Hercules. Fish and marine supplies is the most profitable between those 2 systems. Its not the best trade routes but its a descent one.
And sometimes there is cargo missions between those 2 systems as well.
Sorry to be a killjoy but I don’t think there should be any routes that are both safe and particularly profitable, at least not persistently. In real life any trades that are both safe and predictable get arbitraged into miniscule profits in no time that are only worth doing at all on massive volumes.
I would hope in the release that routes like Chango to Beagle get taken over by AI’s and reduce profitability meaning that if players want better profits they have to start bracing the pirate infected area, or travel a great distance, say Federation to Empire and back, but the profits make it worth it.

If you want more profit per tonne do this
LHS3662 and LHS417
Silver one way and Consumer Components or something the other way.
In a Type-9 this is 360k one way and 190k the other way and only 2.7 million and 2 million for the cargo respectively. Beats the 5 million for 500k gold runs (which usually have no return leg for decent profit)
1 Jump each way for this same as Aulin > Chango
Easy way to get there is Aulin > Keries > Tillian (sp?) and then either of these should pop up.
Alternatively Eranin > Aulin is good for Terran enrichment Systems (A > E) and Coffee/Tea/Animal Meat (E > A) in a Type 9 this is usually 321k (A > E) and 112k (E > A). 1 hop

I will try the routes you suggested, thank you. Right now I am working my way up to a Hauler so I can carry more loot before I change routes.
Ah, to be honest just run Fish and Agr-Medicines then between Chango > Aulin
Don't bother with the routes I suggested until you're at least in a Cobra Mk3.

i was grinding Aulin->Azeban terrain smth -> <- coffee, nice relaxing drive for lykon9
Gold from LP 64-194 -> NANG-TA-KHIAN. Buy for 8250 and sell for 9600. And Extractors from NANG-TA-KHIAN back to LP 64-194. In a Lakon 9, this will give you around 650.000 credits profit per round trip.
The systems are pretty remote. Cobra's and Vipers are not able to go there. I hardly see anybody there. In fact I never read about someone doing this gold rush.

Agri meds are ok but there is one other item which is much better, just look at the commodities at Aulin that are high in supply...
I think game is totally safe. There was one time I couldn't escape a Viper(police) in a sidewinder but I almost killed it before I jumped away. I want to fight like in the old Elite but now my only option is to get away - which is quite easy - because the enemies are too strong usually.
The trick to escape is to turn assist off and use the "afterburner" and you will fly at top speed - 350 in a Type-6. Maybe I'm lucky but I never got attacked by a player, but at top speed until I reach the station he would need a high burst e.g. full rockets or something to kill me.
Ofc I lost many ships, cargo and money due to bugs.
