Looking for some trading advice.

Hi all, just looking for a bit of trading advice. I've just about gotten my bearings with combat and a nicely fitted Viper so now I'm looking to get myself a basic Hauler for trade runs when I want a more peaceful play experience.

Trouble is, I don't seem to be very good at reading the market data. Almost as many times as I get it right, I turn up at a system supposedly importing the cargo i'm carrying, only to find they won't even take it (20 credit-ish loss. Not devastating, just a pain, so what am I doing wrong? Thanks guys! :)

An issue exists currently which is being looked at / hopefully fixed soon which causes such things, take a look at this thread

As it stands, you will be much better off if you visit various stations and make a few notes rather than relying on the in-game info, although it can still help.

Or if you enjoy self flagellation like me; you can forgo the tools and do it all in game!

If you go my way; buy only high supply items you know that you can get rid of. - which means not buying resonating separators and a few other goods that nobody anywhere will take off your hands.

If you find yourself enjoying it then you might also want to try walking or even crawling through broken glass as that's where the real fun lies :p
