Looking for suggestions on the best use of the class-1 hardpoints on the front of the T-10

I can't think of anything effective to mount on the two class-1 hardpoints to the right and left of the bridge on the front of the T-10 and am seeking suggestions. Anyone?

For now I just mounted a couple of turret-cannons. o7

I always put missile pods on the small hardpoints on all of my larger ships. They're useful if a small fighter is trying to escape or if you need to finish a ship off quickly that is firing chaff. Other good suggestions I've heard have been small railguns but those aren't going to be as useful on the Type 10 due to the maneuverability. You could even put a pair of small mining lasers if you had no other ideas, really they don't contribute much to your firepower either way (unless of course you're good at using rails).
 
I'd say either long range rails for extra shield busting, long range fixed beams for all around use (Thargoid shields, zapping small fighters from a distance, etc), or maybe put in a couple small MC turrets with an increased ammo mod and corrosion + emissive munitions. You can also slot mines to ward off PVP rammers.
 
Since I had a modified set laying around in storage I mounted a couple of missile launchers, will see how it works out. o7

How about mines? You can’t outrun the thargoids in a T10 but you could lay mines while in full reverse as they close you down. Not sure if it’ll work but going to try it later.
 
Missiles? That's what I put on the class ones on my Conda, you can engineer them to be high capacity only use them on hard to hit ships or ones that are running away like those pesky eagles or couriers. For tharg hunting then I don't know turreted pulse?
 
I was just going to leave them empty. Thought about rails, but I went with a 7A reactor to save money so I doubt I could run two on top of everything else.
 
The only weapon that I have found that is of any worth on 1's are rails. But I doubt that would be of any use against aliens, I leave them empty when alien hunting.

A combo of rails, plasmas and MC's seem to work for me otherwise.

We'll see what happens when the four AX weapon limit is removed and other weapons come on-line.

Small Hardpoint?

Either rubber duckys (lol) or think about Antal's Enforcer Cannons. They are compare-able to medium multi-cannons. Not too shabby. Fixed only, as goes for all power-play weaponry. Probably bad for a hit-scan build. If you go with mostly MC's or want to swicht weapongroups I'd say they're considerable. If the two hardpoints are close together, the better.
