Looking for the old Rare Goods Trading spreadsheet

Certainly, but that can be balanced. I thought the intention of FDev pulling rares was to re-balance and then enable them again. For PP factions that used rare trading as their bonus lever to pull for reinforcement, it puts them at a disadvantage.
I am sure that was the intent but as they haven’t yet been re-enabled the balancing process is proving to be more long winded than us players expected.

The pod and rare situation is very classic Fdevs way of doing things... something gets broken/disabled, and it sometimes takes a lot of time to be resolved.

Still, thats not that much long, in Fdevs eyes, lookin at last 10 years of patches/updates history... It could be easly twice or more times than this, before any fix or next update goes live. Minor bugs or any changes (obviosly nothing major game breaking), even if litte, can often take about 5-6 months at start, up to year or two, before it gets adressed... by big IF, as some bugs or "changes" are around for years and not yet fixed.

Worst part is that there is no guarantee that next patch gonna bring back rares or pods (for PP2 merits, thats it), but its almost certain that something else entirely, somewhere will stop work or gonna be disabled or changed, and it can be almost any part of game.

Hence, when I see every new update for this game, the first thing I always wonder is "what is going to be broken this time".

I think one or two cmdr of our Trading Post at East India Company have all the rare goods there are ingame.

It was a big project to do so.
