Writing you to let you know that Looking for Wing has been updated to v0.3 and to talk a bit about what we have been doing.
Version 0.3 Changelog:
- Added visual hints to help CMDRs get familiar with the interface
- Added a Home Landing Page
- Added a fancy Menu
- Improved Desktop/Mobile Layouts
- Removed chat in favor of Discord
- Gave birth to a Discord Bot - Loo
After some feedback exchange with fellow CMDRs, Looking for Wing's chat was abandoned in favor of Discord. In the meanwhile we created Looking for Wing's Discord Server and have been working on Loo - Looking for Wing's Discord Bot.
Loo is going to help Looking for Wing's mission by managing Power, Wing and Looking for Group channels while also responding directly to commands from authenticated CMDRs. After authenticating with Loo on Looking for Wing'sDiscord Server, Loo will be able to add you to your Galactic Power channels, create Wing channels for you, add you to existing Wing channels, Notify you of Wing Invites and so on. As always, Loo's features will be constantly being discussed and developed according to the Community feedback.
Use this Invite to join and invite other CMDRs to Looking for Wing's Discord Server. Make sure you visit the Help page for more information on Discord and Loo.
Starting today, you can also add Looking for Wing to your Android and iOS Home Screen and use it just like any application. We also added a Changelog and a Roadmap to our About page.
As you probably already noticed, we have also created a fancy logo for Looking for Wing, inspired by the need of giving a face to our dear bot - Loo - the result is the Looking for Wing's logo.
Further down the road is Third Party utility integration with Looking for Wing. We also have some ideas under development such as a Galaxy-Wide Message Board, Looking for Help Beacons and Private Groups/Recruiting.
