Newcomer / Intro Looking to make some CMDR friends!

Haven't gotten the game yet, but was wanting to put this up anyway because it shouldn't be much longer. Looking to get to know friendly CMDR's, my best friend has the game and we will probably be doing some trading and mining runs at first but I'm really looking forward to exploring the Great Void as soon as I'm able! So if you see a Jace Faolan cruising around space and you need some help/want a friend/want to say "hi"/don't have anything better to do or any other reason then go ahead and say hi! We will chat about the most recent Galnet news stream, local issues, world issues, galaxy issues, fav games, fav systems, the intricacies and complexities of all things random! All over a chilled bottle of the finest Lavian Brandy :) so memorize that name or write it down or whatever!



(looking over what I wrote I realized that it sounds a whole lot like a newspaper ad to make friends hahaha! Happy accident lol)

Hi,

I don't travel much around Lave, but if you see Cmdr Hiram somewhere, say 'Hi'. I hope you have good time. It's a fun game with lots of options. it also has a big learning curve at first.

Hi!

It would be nice to know your time zone. I am european, playing in the evening. If you leave me a message i can introduce you to my special corner in the galaxy where it is easy to make good profit with any profession. Would be nice to do a trade/combat or explorer wing, i am open to all (and i have ships for all 3 occupations).

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for all of you, I'll hopefully be able to get my rig built after Easter weekend and download the game soon after. I hate the waiting! Can't wait to see you all in space!

Another thumbs up for Mobius.

OT: Cant get get my team speak to work though so I am going to buy a cheap headset to see if it will a difference to using the built in microphone - too much feedback

Ya I found the mobius group a little while ago and I am definitely planning on joining when I get the game. My plan is to play solo at first and get past the learning curve then join Mobius's group and play a little there and a little open, I'm glad I found that group, I really don't want to deal with trolls while I'm trying to do my thing and appreciate the game ;)

All levels are welcome .... the knowledge base is huge and is fact based from live CMDR's flying real ships in real time

No fantasy shipyard loadouts that don't work etc.

I am a member of mobius as well, but nowadays i play open. Why? Even with close to 6000 members, you just tend to not meet anybody if you are not in the center of inhabited space. At least for me, i never met anybody, was the same as solo. Even in open i rarely see anybody because i am more on the edge. So "bad" players are no problem here for me, and i actually enjoy anybody visiting my little corner :).

I highly doubt that we'll meet as my home system - playing Open - is quite the Last Stop Before the Void!
but Welcome, soon! :)

add me, I've been playing for about 2 months but im taking it slow, currently boosting away from the feds in a cobra mk3.
I still havn't used the wings feature yet.
