Looks like big news coming soon.

There is a special announcement at the start of tonights livestream. Interested to see what.

Why would an older game like RCT3 be able to do swimming pools but not PC? What about a dinghy slide? There are bobsled pieces on the workshop that could be used to make fake water slides. I find it disappointing that PC can’t do some things that RCT3 did. We have to fake a lot of stuff because it wasn’t made yet. Like the giant slide, round up, gravitron, sky swing, space shot, sling shot, etc. PC is one of the only games that can’t be modded yet. RCT3 and Parkitect allow the importation of custom scenery and rides, and RCTW allows custom scenery. But, overall PC is a more advanced game than the others visually. And Frontier is still supporting the game with add on packs, etc. And only RCT3 and PC can intersect paths and tracks to make “fake” railroad crossings so far that allow the peeps to walk across the tracks. I just wish that there would be a DLC or update focused on flat rides sometime, or a classic rides pack, or carnival pack with carnival games, etc. There are still flat rides missing that are in RCT3. Judging by the release history we should be getting the next DLC and game update by late June or July. So far, the DLC releases have been spaced about three months apart. Does the game engine allow for attractions like 3D Cinema and mirror maze like RCT3 has? You can fake those, and put restrooms or something in for the people to have a reason to go in the building but it’s not the same as having a working attraction. I don’t like Frontier’s complete silence between updates, though, they don’t even tell us what they’re working on or give us teaser screenshots or give us hints as to what might be coming in the future.

I like where PC is going. With every new update and DLC we get new features and rides. I say just give the developers time to add more flat rides to the game. More flat rides will come sooner than later.[wink] I like your idea of a all flat rides DLC.

Planet Coaster is one of the only coaster games without a working Gravitron. RCT3, RCTW, and Parkitect all have one. And RCT3 and RCTW have a slide and sky swing, but not PC. Sky Swing is that extreme thrill ride with a huge metal arch where you get hoisted up to a tower and free fly hanging from a cable. There are variants called Skycoaster, etc.

I remember when keralis silverett and lady designer came together to build a fake but really good water slides area in their park. PC hasnt been out anywhere near as long as PC. They could include it later on. At least theres a few water rides already in PC. Rainbows End in NZ has bumper boats. Splash Planet has water slides (in NZ). Theres several rides at Rainbows End that are already in PC. But Frontier are pretty good at keeping secrets. Remember months back when in their yt video they suddenly mentioned log flume and river rapids rides would be coming. Heaps of people were like, yay, wooo. [squeeeeee] It just really ups their reputation when they make people that happy.

The only issues are if PC can actually do water slides, bumper boats, and swimming pools with the way the game code is, compared to RCT3. Well, bumper cars are possible but the bumper boats in RCT3 were a platform you would place in the water and the boats would go out into the lake individually with 2 riders per boat. How about the swan pedal boats, too? Parkitect just added rides like that. I noticed RCTW got a horror update last year but it doesn’t seem as good as Planet Coaster’s Spooky Pack. It has less items, too. No dark ride tracked ride in RCTW.
