Turns out the Milky Way is 50% bigger than previous thought due to the "ripple" effect when dwarf galaxies goes through the center of the galaxy, just like how you drop a pebble in a pond. The galaxy is not in a "flat" disk but more of a wave disk. More places to explore! xD

Wow...really interesting to read. R+ for finding it....I wonder if the DEV's will be able to adapt the game to reflect these new findings.. it would require some preety major adjustments to the ED galaxy

Yea. The adjustment will take some time. Instead of having denser amount of stars as you go straight across the galaxy from one end to the center, there will be occasional situation where the amount of stars gets less denser and you have to look up or down on the map to see where all the stars go.
