Newcomer / Intro Loop trade route

Hi folks, I'm back after a very long time. I'm trying to find a single hop loop trade route and can't find anything with a higher profit per ton then 20k. Does anyone know where I could find a more profitable route?
Is there a "special" place or a fortune formula?

have you tried this site
I don't think you linked the page you wanted to link, mate.

edit: okay, to be a little bit more helpful - you can try this, Ady. https://eddb.io/
But honetly, I'd consider 20k/t profit pretty good.

Welcome back!
I think that the circular trade route (shifting rare goods around the systems) has lost a lot of appeal - it took me ages to get an A rated fsd for my trading AspX...
Nowadays there are transport/salvage missions that offer far more credits than trading rare goods, so a couple of those missions and I'm heading to an updated FSD.
Use your existing reputation to find a matching port, then look at the missions available. If your reputatuion is high, then you can get a decent payout.
Alternatively, look at the passenger missions, but beware of taking a "wanted" criminal out unless you perfected sneaking into a space station (thrusters on full, heat sink, request permission and pray that there's not a Clipper coming out!).

I'd recommend you join a non-PvP group (e.g. Mobius) or fly in Solo when approaching Engineer sites/community goals/popular stations until you're happy with the new engineered modules and happu with PvP.

Inara uses the same loop finder. Just the presentation is different/better. YMMV.

Yeah, I use it a lot. But no dice, trying different ststems and nothing above 20k.

The thing is - there's one basic problem with high-yield routes. People either share them and they get milked by everybody who uses trading tools in couple hours or they don't share them and keep them for themselves.
So the only reliable way of finding one of those and getting rich on it is to find it yourself. Routes you find on 3rd party tools are either bad or decent but not worth pursuing for the min-maxers.
