This obviously preludes any events from Ghost Of Our Past or anything before that. I want to establish in character histories for most of the ships I have, rather than "I grinded rank/credits". I'm also trying to address a potential "how is an escaped slave who isn't hugely wealthy flying an Imperial Clipper?" question, and I don't want grinding rank to Baron to be part of his canon.
