Does world of Elite has star gates? You know, the ones that you can enter and immediately exit very far from entry point. It would be awesome if there were any in bubble, so you could somewhat travel faster and just for epicness
Wrong game... the Elite lore pre-dates games with magic gates.
FE2 had a bug that kinda enabled "wormholes" though.

The original Elite featured 'Galactic Hyperspace'. A one-shot device that flung you into another galaxy (of which there were 8). The nature of those 'galaxies' was never entirely clear and the current lore makes no mention of that capability. Most have rationalised this as different sectors of the same galaxy.
FE2 did feature a 'bug' that allowed hyperspace travel across very large distances and FFE lore indicated that Thargoids were able to make instantaneous jumps of up to 1,000 lightyears.
However, it is far to say there are no point to point hyperspace transfer capabilities in Elite at present, what has happened to Jacques station not withstanding.

As above, the bubble really is tiny. The Anaconda can now do 120Ly jumps if outfitted right. Thats one end of the bubble to the other in 4 jump which is insane.
Most ships can with Engineer mods now manage around 25Ly easily, only the heavy combat & traders are stuck lower.
This pretty much sums up my feelings on gates, Sag A* from Sol is now under 8 hours, probably under 7. It's making the galaxy a smaller place

Only with premium FSD boost from synthesis, you can get it to 60ly

As above Engineer mods give up to +45% range on an Anaconda
In beta it was 25%, this thread from beta shows me getting 100Ly from an Anaconda: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=249176
Change the 25% to 45% and you get the extra 20Ly.
