Loses due to crashes worth reporting

New to the game and have a question. Are loses due to crashes worth reporting to technical support and will anything come of it? My situation is that on two separate occasions after mining expeditions the game crashed resulting in lost ships and cargo. The first occurred as I was attempting to jump out of system after leaving an asteroid field only to log in and be destroyed by two pirates ships that weren't there when the crash occurred. The second time upon relog I found myself within visual distance of the Fleet Carrier I jumped too, only to have an Anaconda appear right in front of me with the only message "Now You Die" as explanation. Now I researched the game for a bit on YouTube even passing up on the free deal in December deciding if I wanted to invest the time, so I know enough and am abiding by law 1 "Never Fly Without A Rebuy" . Now my playtime is limited due to work usually resulting in only two allowed trips into the local mining ring to fill the hold of my just three day old Glorious Python. These loses are affecting my decisions on investing in in game purchases and the Odyssey expansion. Now the lose of 35 million in a loaded Asp Explorer and 65 for a Python and payload may seem like nothing to some, but to this noob "Ouch". My limited time makes the grind tolerable at best, but having nothing to show for it makes you wonder if its worth the effort. I hear good things about this community and would appreciate your input.

Working as intended. The moment you jump or spawn into an asteroid field within range of the bubble, pirates will follow your wake. BOOST AND HIGH WAKE OUT if you can't deal with such aggressors offensively, pips at 420 (meaning 4 to systems, 2 to engines). While the FSD charges, engage in evasive maneuvers using your lateral thrusters, rolls, pitch and yaw.

Another bad mistake is to not factor in some form of defense, may it be shields (in combination with shield boosters) and/or hull (in combination with both hull reinforcement packages and heavier bulkheads)

(High-Wake means jump to a different star. High-Waking may take longer but is not subject to mass-locking)

Also, system stability is on the customer, not the developer. While there is a lost asset restoration, it is one time only. So choose wisely when you wish to play that last chance card.

Appreciate the one time only information, will hold that ticket off until and if I ever get one of the big boys. Although with the rep grind involved with Imperial and Federal ships it would take me a year until I see a Corvette or Cutter. I haven't had crash problems in other areas of gameplay, actually enjoyed delivering meds during the last community goal, but only had time to make it to 75% on two of the goals.
