Losing gained money at the end of a season

Has anyone had the glitch where the money you have in the bank at the end of the season (residual from the season plus any more gained from DHL pitstops and board confidence and prize money etc.) disappearing when the new season starts? I had 26 Million left when the season finished which vanished when it came time to renew the engine supplier putting me 8 million negative at the start of the next season stopping me from refurbishing and starting car development until I regain the money...
