Losing key mappings

Not sure if this should be a trouble ticket but with my XBOX 360 controller, if it switches off and is not available in the options menu, then I reconnect it - I lose all of my key mappings and tediously have to put them in again ...:S:S

I think ED wipes your custom config if it contains references to a controller that isnt conected - had it happen to me a few times.
