Loss of control when looking up-left in starport services

Hi

When I enter a starport service menu, I loose input control when looking up and left. I have set my Saitek x52 hat switch to control menus, and also the power distribution of the ship. but when I look at a certain area of the screen, the controls change from menu control to power distribution.
I notice it a lot when having the commodities market open. When I look at the goods from the top of the menu and down to just below center, the menu goes dim and the controls start to change power distribution.
It only happens in the starport menu and not while flying.

Anyone having the same bug/issue/problem?

Yes, I've been having this issue since Beta 3.

I believe it's activating the Comm panel, since cockpit ui is now active during station services. Ticket that sucker!

I can confirm this bug. At first I didn't even realize it but then I heard that specific sound and in my peripheral view I saw the power distribution change.

Yeah I noticed that last night too. It does it in both directions. It deactivates the screen to early. They also need to increase the area you can be looking at for the side screens to activate and basically make it a smooth transition from both.

It would be really cool if they gave us the ability to set bounding offsets for the screens, even if it's just in a config file somewhere. Since there's no centerpoint cursor that shows where the rift is pointing, it's hard to intuit where you're face is actually looking (as opposed to your eyes)

Yeah, the Comma panel is in front of the Startport Services window. If you can, just tilt your head a bit. The Startport window will highlight again when its selected..
