General loss of key setup

i don't know what this nightmare is but after any game update i lose my key setup. I flew out of the station today, but my keys are back to default and that's why I lost my Federation Covette. This is the reason why I don't want to play this game because I always lose everything after every update and I need a lot of time to restore everything.

You can backup your keybinds and just reload them after the update, there are guides on how to do this, but I have never lost my keybinds after an update so I don't have the exact process down to memory, I am sure someone will come along and explain the process to you fairly soon.

Never lost my binds either. This is definitely a issue with the way you're doing things.

keybindings can reset if you visit the control section without one of your usual devices used to play the game ie hotas , xbox pad etc not plugged in or at that present moment is undetected by windows as it thinks your just using keyboard and mouse it simply rewrites your binds for you...
