Powerplay Loss of Merits

I took out a few ships and gained several hundred merit points yesterday.

When I logged back on today it seems that those merit points are gone.

At least they are not listed in my transactions any more and I am still Rank 1.

I lost the points because I logged off before turning them in?

Since it was thursday it switched to another "week" and I lost them cause I didnt turn them in before the switch?

Every Thursday at 07 am game time the PP tick happens. All merit vouchers you didn't turn in at that time are completely lost. The only exception are fortification supplies in your cargo hold, you can still hand those in as usual. So if your merits were in the transactions tab you didn't go to any of your power's control systems in time to turn your merit vouchers into actual merits. You can try to contact support, if they feel nice maybe they'll give you the rank you had merits for (this was not a bug/glitch). Logging out before turning in isn't required, PP vouchers will stay valid for the whole PP cycle they were earned in, you can only lose them by dying or not turning them in before tick really.
