Lost 200K because of human error.

Or there is always the oolite method which i assume comes from original elite with a docking computer although i dont remember it.. Get spaceport safety zone, press shift C and ... docked. Im sure we all want that dont we kids

So I was was doing some speed runs to make as much money AS I could in as fast as I can, that at one point I have forgotten to Request for docking. And had zero time to correct my error and got my ship blown up. This is very depressing. Happen to anyone else? Sucks to put all those hours in making all those credits just to lose then in seconds.

For many of us it's happened, now I try not to partake before flying :p

WRONG!!!!!

What kind of online gamers are you?

The rules of online gaming have been broken...
RULE 1

It is NEVER the players fault.

NEVER! - Excuses can be ping, lag, packet loss, door bell, kids, game mechanics, hackers HAKORRRRRS, dog attacking a stripper, house being hit by rockets and many many more, but....

NEVER is it your fault

Have you ever even played WoT

Done it twice in my T7 now. Lost 2.5M Cr each time. It may be annoying but its completely avoidable and my fault. Stuff happens. Its not as if they do not make it clear that you will get your teeth kicked in if you infringe the rules. Step one. Request Docking.

Do you mean the "UI Focus" option? It defaults to Left-Shift. That doesn't open then UI though, you have to press the button assigned to "UI panel left". I still don't see anyway simple way to open up the UI in one press; let alone request docking access in one press??
It can't be done like that, they were just examples of how it could be easier.

I've got a Voice Attack command set up so I just say "Requesting docking" and hey presto, docking permission (although it still steps through the menus to do it, since it's just simulating a sequence of key presses).
