Lost my life support, HUD and one 46k Cr. Bounty + smaller ones. Tried to save and almost made it. Hours later got fined for 75k Cr.

Rub some dirt on it, wimp

On behalf of the New Alliance of NPC-Commanders (NAN-C), a subfaction of the Pro-life Association of NPC-Commanders (PAN-C). We write to inform you that your actions within the Resource Zone have resulted in immense grief to four members of NAN-C. Our NPC Commanders, having fought bravely with the Wanted Anaconda for over an hour, had their 65,000 Cr. Bounty stolen by your actions. Their claim, which is now substantiated by PAN-C by your admissions, is that you have committed the act of dishonourable "Kill Stealing".

Please be informed that we have taken note of your actions and have lodged a formal complaint with Frontier Developments for due recompense.

Sincerely,
New Alliance of NPC-Commanders (NAN-C)

haha well finders keepers, although it was me left weeping in the end.

Nice indirect brag that you could actually do this, your post literally adds nothing to this thread.
Implying there's anything to brag about. Stock eagle is a very powerful ship for its size and AI is generally stupid, so you don't need any kind of skill to do that.
And well, after reading my post OP may start saving money for an eagle.

I'd actually never thought of doing this and that it would give a longer period oxygen. Thanks for the tip!

I find I am more often than not in your face letting the class 2 cannons sing you a song. Powerplant detonations are rather spectacular when an anaconda pops.
In desperation many larger vessels try to ram.
I find breathing to be a cool and valuable pastime for humans.

The problem is more so the luck factor involved in getting 60k worth of bounties spawning every 5 minutes. I sometimes sit around waiting for 10 minutes to see a bounty ship turn up at all... I made a princely 30k cr in an hour today bounty hunting in Lugh. A few days back that was a tad short of 200k. Either way, still not 60k every 5 mins...

It's not killing ships, it's having them spawn with sufficient bounties in the first place.

Z...

As an update, just spent 30minutes taking out wanted cobras, etc and accumalted 80,000 cr.Off to see the values party of nambikuara to claim my prize before I get too big for my boots.

At least you died and lost your bounties in a fight...
I once lost 200k+ bounties with an accidental boost and crash into a NPC ship flying ( and start scanning ) straight to me and I end up in a fireball...

Hi EvilDog77
Happened to me twice. I raised 2 tickets asking for the credits to added to my total. I gave them details of time, location, etc. That was 2 days ago. Would be a nice Christmas present.

If you want to bounty hunt, go to an Anarchy system with a Nav Beacon an use a Kill Warrant Scanner.
You will make a LOT more than in a lawful system with no worries of police or accidentally getting fined for anything.

The guy who said about racking up 60k of bounties in 5 mins or so was probably doing the above (with some luck).
Every few mins you generally get 2-3 ships with at least 5k on them, and often Vipers and Cobras with 20k+ on them.
Then you get Asp's with lovely fat bounties, NPC Asp's are easy kills in any ship, just stay behind them.

An Elite Viper can actually be tougher to take out than the Cobra's and Asp's so watch out for that.

Just remember to turn it all in..
I lost 600k worth of bounties earlier (250k Alliance, 250k Fed, 100k Empire) while trying to kill an unusually heavily decked out Anaconda.
