lost button functionality.

My button setup has worked fine for weeks but suddenly today it's stopped working in supercruise.
I've mapped my speed presets to b+up +100%, b+down -100%, b+right +50% and b+left is cut engine's.
It all works in normal space but as soon as I enter supercruise I cant access them.

Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Huh, just sorted it by replacing my button presets with exactly the same ones.
Go figure.

Sometimes with an update your button bindings get a bit messed up. Happened with the launch of horizons for me.

Just discovered my buttons are still screwed.
My speed presets are OK but every time I use them it alters my pip management.
Seriously, what gives!

Oh it's worse than I thought. My little fix has also gone and removed my presets from normal space.

My ship is totally .

Everytime there is an update scheduled I make sure that I have my button presets written down incase I have to reset them and redo them. I would recommend you reset and rebind your keys.

All of them? I've never had this issue before. Still I did have them all written down so I could go thru it all again.
Thing is all my buttons were working fine 2 hours ago and the update was days ago.

Can't say what happened, but you may need to take a look at them all. Make sure they are all where you want them. Did you first try the simplest of fixes, reboot the xbox?

I restarted the game 3 times already and I've just turned the xbox back on. Here goes nothing.

Yeah, I don't think it will fix anything, but I have been surprised before. If not, I would take a look at the bindings.

Unfortunately it didn't solve anything. I guess I'll have to wait for ed to sort it.
So for now I'm gonna have to give up on the speed presets, shame as they had just become second nature.

Buttons are broken. The button combos for cargo scoop and debug cam are completely different to the ones in my ship, despite all controls being the same in options. It's been broken since 2.1

Having said that the only thing that's gone wrong is that if I hold b and press the d pad it changes my pip management as well as the preset bonded to it. Very annoying.

And now I'm gonna vent..... I had the last 3 days off. And what have I managed to do on elite? Virtually jack. Between the missus being off sick from work and my son having an autistic meltdown my 3 days of peace and quiet have been wrecked. I bet when I go to work tomorrow and the day after everyone will be fine again! :-(

Think I'll swear off of elite till the buttons get sorted, it's messing with my OCD.

Well I can't find settings or contextual menus but I've explored the options menu and control menu thoroughly. Everything should b golden but it's not.
I'm gonna do some bf1 till it's working again.

Have noticed the odd thing with the button mapping in supercruise it will tell me the setting B+ LB is for scb but in normal space it tells me it's for a heat sink. Gave up trying to figure it out took up alchemy instead it was easier to figure out how to make gold and the elixir of life than work out ED bugs
