Lost Cargo For Contracts

Hello, I had a few contracts that required the cargo in my ship, unfortunatly was blown up and now the cargo is all gone. The contracts are still showing up but my cargo hull is empty, I went back to the station that I originally recieved the contracts and I do not see an option to reacquire the cargo or to reset the contracts (some of the cargo I cannot buy around any systems in my vicinity.)

Is there a way to either reset the contracts to reacquire the cargo? Or am I just SOL and abandon the contracts? Thanks in advance.

You can rebuy the cargo you need, but that's out of your own pocket, or you can just drop the contract which will give you some negative rep with the faction that gave you the contract, but they'll still work with you.

If you were carrying illicit cargo, you may have to travel a bit to replace it.

It was slaves, and the nearest system that would have something like that is much too far for me to travel. But I figured I had to shoulder the cost, thanks though.
