Lost Cargo tonight ?? i fixed mine :D

hello CMDR's seems alot of people tonight are having problems with lost cargo and therefore lost credits, i had the same problem got disconnected and my cargo was gone or at least not showing up but at the same time it would show up in the commodities list as 100 out of 100 used on the right hand side (transactions), i raised a ticket, but decided to try out a few dif things to see if i could get it back and i did.

all i did in the end to get it back was travel back to the station i purchased my goods at, and when i arrived it showed me as having the previous commodity i sold to that station, so i clicked sell and it tried the transaction, transaction finnished (i did not get any credits for the transaction) and my true commodity returned and then i went back to the station i wanted to sell at and did.

i know this is a pain in the rear but if your close you may want to give the above a try, it worked for me so may work for yous as well

"Edit" make sure you check your commodities/cargo tab in the original purchase station as posters have said below.

Mine also reappeared on switching stations (I don't think it needs to be the one you bought it at).

I was unable to sell the cargo though.

i was able to sell my goods as i said when i went back to the same station i bought them at, however at first the previous cargo showed up as i said in OP but once i tried to sell that cargo, the right cargo re-appeared and i was then able to go back and sell it at a profit at the station it was intended for.

Did not work for me, went back to original station, hold still empty and nothing available to sell.

This bug is getting rather irritating. Thank god I had a cheap return load of Robotics (only 640k or so).

It works if you go to the commodities tab, it will re verify your cargo hold contents it seems

It's hit and miss at the moment and a growing problem... first time I did what you did, went back to the station and there was my cargo. Problem is I can't seem to transport it off that station to another. I think there is an issue with cargo staying on your ship once your leave the system.

Same thing - picked up a mission to deliver some Bertandite and it promptly disappeared. Logged off and back on and it reappears. All trade transcations are failing.

ok guys just so yous know this has happened again to me tonight but going back fixed it again. ~Quicker i get in an Asp the better lol.

at least then i could go do some bounty hunting

I was able to sell but couldn't buy, exited the commodities market and went back in to find my cargo back in hold but I still got the credits

worked a few times until it went back to normal, also having a lot of problems with advance scanner and surface scans

This didn't work for me at first, but just sitting in the commodities screen for a couple of minutes and my cargo magically reappeared again.

Cheap return load? That's about 50% of my total assets

lost cargo had to backtrack

Bought Marine Equipment at Station 1, docked at Station 2 and it was gone
Bought Tobacco at Station 2, docked at Station 3 and again it was gone
Went back to Station 2, into the Market, selected Tobacco and hit 'Cancel' and 100 Marine equipment showed up in my cargo
Sold the Marine Equipment and all of a sudden 100 Tobacco appeared in my cargo

Seems going back and cancelling to get the initial transaction restored set everything right again

This has not worked for me

Saddest part of this is now all of a sudden there are light gold transport missions showing up for 15t and 150,000 Cr. Jeesh! when it rains it pours! I have only been lucky enough to take one of those missions the whole time I have been playing.

Here I am stuck seeing these missions unavailable because of a phantom shipment of 24t of lithium that I can not even jettison, not to mention sell.
