My game time has always been solid, in fact I can think of perhaps 3 or maybe 4 times since beta 1.2..or 1.3 (can't remember which level I joined). But tonight is just absolutely horrendous, the amount of times I have seen "Could not connect to matchmaking server" is beyond a joke. Matchmaking server?? who am I matched with? the Planets, Moons, Suns or the spacedust going past my cockpit? Hmm, it could be the orbit lines.. TBH I wouldn't care if it connected you where you were when it happens, but it takes you back a good way. Tis not amusing one tiny bit.
So it might be my internet connection?
Is there any nifty piece of software (free, if possible) that will show mw a graph of my connection status?

Servers are generally flaky (It has been stated that FD use Amazon which is known to be a cheap and not top quality solution), last night was worse than normal.
