Ok, So here is my first impression of the game. I do the training missions. I start an open play game and after fumbling around with the keyboard I figure out how to take my first mission and after a little more fumbling I manage to launch my ship off and away I go. I have a mission to get a black box from somewhere in space and finally jump to the area. I have no idea where to find a black box so I'm jumping around looking all over and checking my nav panel. Finally after looking for about 45 minutes I find out I am almost out of fuel in the middle of space I have no money and I can't jump anymore due to low fuel. Frankly I don't even care anymore. I just spent 3 days trying to buy this game because it wouldn't accept my credit card and I contacted my bank and the issue wasn't with them. So I had to reactivate my Paypal and wait for the deposits. I think the ships in this game look horrid and the effort I put in just to play it I am quite . Thanks for wasting my time.

Try spending a little more time looking at tutorial videos (youtube) and reading up on things. Surely if you can spend three days purchasing the game you can spend more than an hour learning to play it?

:D S

First of all, I like the way the ships look. Thats a matter of opinion and is pointless to mention. Also, you clearly did no research on the game or how to play it before buying it or you would know what to do. You can't see the black box in your nav panel, you have to go to unidentified signals. Do your research, don't come on the forums and bash a game you clearly know nothing about and did not give a serious try.

To OP,

Harden Up Princess...

And maybe learn not to give up on things so quickly... Theres a life lesson for you for free!

and if your stuck, why not ask questions here? People glad to assist... Or go to Youtube or google..

Rather than having your little trantrum...

Come on guys this can't possibly be for real. No way this guy is serious. I have to assume he is being humorous. The alternative is just sad.

Thanks for wasting ours!

One hour in-game and then quits? Welcome to 2015.

I take it your not interested in any advice and just wanted to tell us how rubbish you think the game is?

this is not one of those quick start games.

The only game I know that is tougher on new players is EVE, which takes a good month to learn enough to not get killed for doing "Stupid Stuff" (TM)

the actual game here is not difficult, more like obscure / arcane. Lots of in game secrets and know how that you just do not get unless you study up.

A must have for sure is a good controls setup without it, you aren't qualified to dock and undock safely.

I think what a lot of casual players of other games miss here is that it is in fact a flight simulator also and i can easily think of a dozen ways to crash and burn before you even leave the coriolis station.

And i did that mission he's talking about, it's not difficult, but it takes knowing about cargoes, station panel, supercruise, US Signals, cargo scoop, interdiction, patrols, etc but it paid me 12k, on day one.

I just kind of lucked out, and played it like it was EVE, and got through it, very carefully, after reading the manual, doing the tutorials a dozen times for each, except the blast that defenseless targets in the belt one.

Good luck, guy that quit. Time spent reading the manual is well spent, the Navy taught me that.. and not to quit.

Lose interest after 50-100 hours = ok what can be fixed so the game doesn't lose people who want to play it.

Lose interest after 1 hour = the game was never for you. Nothing can be done.

Thanks for wasting mine reading your post. Oh, by the way "Cool Story"!

I heard it's getting nerfed anyway.

I've heard they're going back to the original square design :D
