So we've had threads about the Cobra, later about the ASP and now even about Pythons!
When will people starting losing their whole progress in an Anaconda?

I plan to get a fully kitted viper and go bounty hunting, how does the insurance work, how do you know how much to keep in your account?
I had five Anacondas from running luxuries, so losing one didn't seem like new thread material. Now I'll have to make do with four. Woe is me.
The Asp is a more fun ship anyway, so I'm going to trade in my Anacondas for Asps.

Look to your right. There are some stats. Stuff like current balance (your credits) and the rebuy costs of the ship you are flying. You need to have the rebuy costs to rebuy the ship after destruction.
For example my Pyhton. Rebuy costs are 2.500.000CR right now and my balance is 12.000.000CR. If I lose it I'm down to 9.500.000. If I would have 2.200.000CR balance and my ship gets destroyed, I lose everything because I can't cover the insurance costs.
Damn, I forgot about that thread. But that was an exception, just one guy.

Have you not read the horror stories of not correct insurance?
Rebuy cost listed in first tab in system menu. Keep an eye on it and do not leave station without it.
Also keep in mind balance for buying and selling cargo.

I was thinking this yesterday. A month ago it was the asp. Now Python. Someone must be working on the anaconda achievement by now.

I actually lost my conda this sunday.
Bought a new FSD and used nearly all my money to trade, got interdicted by a FAS i ve runned away and got interdicted in loop.
So i face himself and try to make him run but the guy did kamikaze ram and killed me
I could have waited 2 weeks with the insurance screen and hope to get the community goal money, but the idea to have to redo all the grind and to have a reason to try the new ships was more appealing to me.
150m is done pretty fast those days.
