Lost my DS4 Keybindings

Hey there CMDRs-

A while ago I lost my DS4 keybindings during one of Odyssey's updates, which unfortunately also erased it from my Horizons. Since then, it's being kind of a pain to re-map everything. I recently tried using reWASD however, I have no response in-game when its Remap is set to On.

Would any of you have any advice on re-mapping the DS4 for Horizons? Odyssey is pretty sluggish on may laptop so I won't bother, but I do miss playing Horizons.
If you have any custom profiles for reWASD or mappings for the DS4 controller (especially if its close to the console experience), would highly appreciate! As well as some tips on how I can safely back these up in case it blows again.

and if a old bind did survive perhapse you can simply rename that as per instruction
the above guide is for hor 3.0 binds
and the exact same method can be used for odd version 4.0.binds and its new dvided x4 start.preset file
as they are both kept in the same dir
so my odd bind is now called for eg PUPPYDOG CONTROL4.0.binds
and inside its start preset it reads...………………..
PUPPYDOG CONTROL
PUPPYDOG CONTROL
PUPPYDOG CONTROL
PUPPYDOG CONTROL
which should make sense once the above linked guide is read and understood

Does the keybind 4.0 stuff you mentioned only show up if you have Odessy? I only have the 3.0 files, but I am still on Horizons, so wondering if I'm not finding the correct files, or if I just don't have them since I'm still on horizons? I was also following the guide, but it says to delete any other old binds like 2.0. Does this include the custom.3.0binds.backup file as well?

4.0 is for odd only yes if you don't have it it wont show correct
3.0 is for horizons only and base game elite dangerous
the custom3.0 file should be the one you rename as that is your current controls file
anything earlier then 3.0 can go 2.0 for eg if that is on your system
if you have a 3.0 bacup that can stay along with your renamed file ie the one you are using in game atm
I keep two bindings folders on a spare drive one called couch setup and one called desk setup
which have to be called bindings when plugged back in so to speak I tend to think of them as "spaceship keys!"
