Lost my saved game back to square one.

Hey guys.

Just came back from making a coffee and tried to reload my game. The screen hung on loading then after a bit loaded up a brand new game, I'm now in a sidewinder with 100cr.

I've spent the last few days building up to a hauler and was making nice progress this morning.

Is there anything I can do to restore it? is it a bug? (if so I'll report)

Has anybody else experienced this?

There's been more than 3 reports about this over the last couple of weeks.

Just don't get too attached to your ship/credits :p

There's been quite a few reports of this happening to people. I know its a pain when it happens but we'll have a reset in a couple of weeks anyway when the next beta comes out and again(most probably) when the gamma comes so its not really the end of the world as long as it doesn't happen when the gamma arrives. Thats the way I look at it anyway.

Which all makes sense and everyone can agree to that. It's just a real pain in the neck when you've been working away to get the opportunity to do some testing in a better ship to lose it all.

I agree 100%. I'll start again in a day or so (maybe I'll finally get around to doing the washing up with no distractions :p) My only reason for posting was to highlight, I did a bug report earlier.

As an addendum I've just logged back in and was trying to buy some cargo to start again with my 1000 credits but couldn't. Then I noticed my hold was full, turns out I still had the 16 units of fish I'd bought earlier which I had to sell off four units at a time.

At least it gives me a base to start with :cool:
