Coaster Crazy Lost Progress!

Hi,

I love Coaster Crazy but having completed Australia I went to start my building in the USA but when I opened up the game last night it said something about counterfeit user ID or something when logging in. Then it reset my game save! I have never tried to change my user id on my ipad or gamecenter so I don't know what caused this.

I didn't buy any in app stuff so I haven't lost any money but I'm reluctant to start playing again if it happens days down the line.

Is this a known fault?

Hi Craig,

This is a known error and we're currently in the process of fixing it. It is unlikely that you'll lose your progress again if you restart and we're doing everything we can to resolve this error as soon as possible.

There is a fix that works for some players, but it isn't a guaranteed solution. If you exit out of the game, log back in and wait at the home screen for the 'welcome back' Game Center message to appear it may fix the issue. This is something that we will be fixing in the future, so that the game automatically identifies your previous saved game upon opening Coaster Crazy.

Just happened to me too. Finished Australia and about to finish n America when it happened. It told me my user name was already in use and sent me back to square one :(

Same thing just happened. I tried waiting but that didn't help. It just wants me to go through the tutorial again. :( Please help!

Happened twice to me already

I love this game, but it reset me twice already. I downloaded it about a week ago and I love it, but why does it keep resetting? I have the iPhone 4s. I got even further today and it reset me for the second time... When will it be fixed?

A quick fix is to backup to iTunes after you get far and then restore your backup, this happened to me yesterday and was lucky I backed up earlier that day...

I've lost my progress twice now too. I had bought the moon, all of north America, most of Europe and just on my way to acquire south America too. You really need to fix this problem ASAP!

I noticed that if you never remove the game from the multi task this never happends, it's only when you completely shut it down it's happens to me.

I too have lost my progress, TOO!!!

I've lost my progress three times, and what's more frustrating is going through the tutorial over and over again.

It's fun game please FIX!!!!

We expect the update to fix this to go live early this week. Until then, I would take Eldiano's advice and make sure you back up your save to iTunes.

Is there anyway to recover lost progress it recognizes my game center Id and game center still has all my achievements. I don't want to have to wait all the timeout lock America and Europe. After all intakes a FULL DAY to obtain the land rights for Europe and the moon is expensive

Ok is there anyway to recover lost progress I DON'T want to wait the time to get America and Europe again it takes an entire day for Europe and the moon is expensive let alone the tutorial again.

I'm afraid there isn't any way for us to recover your saved-game for you. If you're concerned about losing your progress again before the update goes live though, it is possible to back up your saved game to iTunes.

I had the same issue,
This is the second time for me experiencing this issue,
Its always id conflict, and i'm registered as a limited user,
Since i passed australia and north america lot,
Could you restore my saves game,?
Because if you can't i had to restart it all again, :(

The bug causing people to lose their saved games has been resolved in the latest update, and future progress you make in Coaster Crazy should not be lost. If you have any further problems though feel free to contact me on the email address in my signiture.

Gah! You think that's bad?

I completed all 5 continents, unlocked bunches of up charge track pieces, and had over 300 gems when the game lost my progress and sent me back to the tutorial.

I can see my achievements weren't lost in the gamecenter, and I can see that tracks for all 5 continents and the moon are saved, but over 3-million game dollars are gone, as are the gems on top of the game progress.

Got the game after the bug fix came out and it was V1.1, but still opened the game to find all of my progress had been wiped. Gutted, it took me ages. Please sort it out Frontier, this game is amazing :D
