Lost the game entirely on Xbox One.

[blah]I don't know if it's a problem on your end or Microsoft end, but ever since 2.4 went live, my game has been unable to launch do to a suspected corrupt file
I keep getting a "Sorry, we can't launch this. The item you're trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. (0x80070570)" i believe that last part was the error code.
Anyway i've tried multiple times to remove and reinstall the whole thing. Each time everything but Elite Dangerous Core would install; the core would not install and I keep getting the same error code and message as mentioned above.

Needless to say,[mad] I need help.

1. Uninstall everything related to Elite. Make sure you delete all "leftover add-ons" as well.
2. Do a hard reset on the console (restore factory defaults) but choose to keep all your installed games and apps.
3. Try to download Elite again.

If it still doesn't download:

4. Do a hard reset again, but this time choose to also delete everything else. If you can, you may move your games to an external HDD (but disconnect the HDD before doing the hard reset).
5. After the console is completely wiped try to download Elite again.

If it still doesn't download, your next option would be Xbox support but I find this unlikely. Xbox Live works well and it's usually software related problems that prevent downloading games. I hope this helps.

There isnt any logical reason to delete games using a factory reset other than to sale your console.
You should always keep the games. Now that erro if you search isn’t always resolved by a factory reset. Usually it’s related to Xbox Live, the developer server and your save/drm

Id actually suggest deleting your Xbox live profile and the local save (not the cloud) as a first attempt

An external HD is a solid suggestion but I just don’t want ppl thinking leaving games on is any different factory reset than taking games off in terms of the OS
