LostWinds Lost Winds Winter of the Melodias torch room bug

I recently purchased Lost Winds Winter of the Melodias and I'm currently stuck in Melodias city. I went back to the city to find a statue but have gotten stuck in the room where there's a water slide that sends you down into a room with many torches you must lit.

There's suppose to be a music ball in this room so I can spin it and open the door but there is no ball in this room! I can't go back because I can't go up the water slide and I can't pass this door! I am stuck!

It's a shame. I was thinking this game was amazing up until this moment. I was pretty far in the game too. I sat there playing it non stop and now this.

Okay, it seems that the issue with the furnace room has been posted already on this message board. Sorry for reposting.

I did read the responses to the other posts and take them into account.

However I find the issue still overly problematic and have contacted a representative for Nintendo's Costumer Service.

He told me to contact the developers again. So Frontier, not sure if there's much you can do about the problem but it'd be nice if you folks can contact Nintendo again to deal with this major issue. You folks should complain to Nintendo about the lack of options developers have to fix issues in their game. A patch or redownload of the game would be fantastic.

This is terrible for the costumers who pay for working games. It's a waste of time and money if I get sold a broken game I can't properly play or complete.

This is a terrible mistake and it's a shame because this game is beautiful and really fun. However this bug is incredibly troublesome.

I will refuse to purchase Frontier products or Wiiware products in the future if the issue is not resolved.

Can't since I have an updated Wii.

I managed to go back a room or two but the player still can't progress unless the player passes the furnace room. This requires the player to restart the game regardless.

So my only option is to start again. Don't think I real feel like it anytime soon. Will probably just move on to a another game.

It's a shame because I honestly think that this game is truly incredible, beautiful, and truly fun. If I were to ever recommend a game for Wii than Lost Winds would be one of them.

However with a glitch this damaging, it's truly devastating to the overall exploration quality of the game.

I think that's what bothers me most about this issue is that I REALLY TRULY LOVE THIS GAME yet it has this issue.

It was seriously, almost, perfect.

It's saddening.

We are continuously talking to Nintendo and looking for ways to work around the issue. If you do not wish to start from the beginning, then I suggest checking this forum every few days to see if any progress has been made in releasing a hotfix / patch. In the event we're able to release one, we'll provide details first-hand on this forum.

I understand the frustration this is causing you, and wish there were more I could do.
