It appears that LostWinds 1 & 2 no longer run under iOS 8, they both exit as soon as they launch. Will there be an update to fix it ( and possible add iPhone 6 / 6 Plus support )?

Have you tested in iOS 8.3? 8.3 miraculously fixed a lot of games that were failing to launch. Unfortunately, it seems that Frontier pulled the game from the App Store, so new players won't be able to play the game now. But, it will play. Interestingly enough, one of the other games that started working again was Sonic 4, Ep II. Both it and LostWinds start with a video. In Sonic, if you let the video play all the way through, the game will load fine. In LostWinds, you have to skip the video or else it will crash when the video ends.
Hopefully, Frontier will decide a patch is worth it and bring the app back for sale. It's a beautiful game and one I love to refer to people as a reason to play on iOS.
