LostWinds LostWinds 1 Update for Wii / WiiU

Hello there!

I just wanted to know if you still want to do the update for LostWinds 1, so it is playable on the WiiU. And if so, how long will it take? :S

Since I got my WiiU last year, there is an empty channel right next to LostWinds 2, waiting for LostWinds 1. :(

I hope, I can play it again on my WiiU soon!

Unfortunately because of compatibility issues it is not a simple task for us to transfer LostWinds over to the Wii U. It is something we would like to do but I'm afraid it isn't something we can guarantee at this time. We will make sure to announce it though should this change.

I second DNAwesome request of a fix to transfer Lost Winds 1 from Wii to Wii U. Please don't forget us.

Hi Ashley, hi all,

we all are pretty anxious to have news from LostWinds on Wii U. If the team has abandoned working on the transfer, the best you can do is probably to tell it us so that we won’t hope indefinitely. I personally own a Wii and a Wii U, and my Wii has become nearly needless. All that I am waiting for to sell it is the possibility of transfering LostWinds to my Wii U. If you keep telling us that you can’t guarantee it at this time, I’ll keep my Wii because there is still a hope. But if you tell us “ok guys, we’ve tried hard but the transfer is merely impossible”, then I will consider selling it. Please don’t leave us in the dark.

By the way, other possible news could be “Ok guys, the transfer is impossible but we work on offering you the game on Wii U” :p or (let me dream) “Ok guys, the transfer is impossible, so we’ve decided to make a LostWinds 1&2 HD port on Wii U.” <-- Epic win.

Yeah, I think froisois is right! Either the team should deliver the bad news, or they give us some details about their plans. I wish so much for a fix! And BTW I have the same problem as you, froisois. I'm just waiting for LostWinds, so I can sell my Wii.

And if you think nobody cares about this game anymore, just look at all the views this topic gets! It has the most views of all LostWinds related topics!

Please, PLEASE give us some good news!
