Hello! I made an account just to post about this game. It was excellent! It was a bit short, but oh well. I liked it so much, I would have paid double if it were only longer... (2 and 1/2 hours is good, but there could have been more)
Anyways, I'm satisfied; I paid 10 dollars, and I really got my money's worth.
My point is that with Wii Ware, there is something new happening--Game developers don't have to make an entirely new sequel to a perfectly working game. It's almost as if LostWinds 1 was a demo that bought on Wii Ware, and most people enjoyed it. WHY REINVENT THE WHEEL? If it works, don't fix it.
I would LOVE to see a LOST WINDS EXPANSION, with all of the same graphics, just more levels. (My Life as King did this, and the total value of the game and all of its expansions came to $30 or $40 or something like that, which is close to the price of a real video game). I wouldn't mind it one bit if the levels had the same art in it, because the art was very aesthetic and pleasing. (good job to all of the artists who worked on this game; you should be proud)
So, please just add in more hours of gameplay as an expansion offer on Wii Ware.
I promise you won't be disappointed with the results.
People only say good things about this game, and the only complaint is that there is not enough of it! (That's a really good problem to have, and easily fixed with expansions).
ps the game froze twice while i moved from one section of the game to another... Frontier may want to fix that for the future...
Let me know what you think about this! Thanks.
