LostWinds LostWinds:Winter of the Melodias Ball Vanishing Glitch

I downloaded 'LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias' on the EU release date and I just couldn't stop playing it, such an awesome game even if it was for about 5 hours :D.

Anyway, while I was playing I got to a point where a ball I needed disappeared when it got to a certain point on the screen  and I found out later on that I needed it to advance further :(. I can't remember the name of the ball, but it's the one when you use a vortex on it, it makes a sound while it spins and it opens certain doors. If it disappears you are just stuck and there is no other way out of it unless you reset it, which if someone didn't save not long before there, then they would have to re-play part of the game which can put some people off from playing it :(.

I did record a short video (although it is rather bad quality) showing where and how it happens so other people know about it, since I couldn't find any other videos or anyone mentioning it happening.

Video is >here<

Hopefully gamers that view the video won't do the same as I did.

No because you get blocked in by two doors.

I'll try and explain:
I think it was on the way to the Melodia City, not sure though, but I went down a waterfall and it took me into another area, then in that area there was the windstone at the top of the screen kept up by branches. You get the windstone and put it on a switch and it opens the door on the left of the switch, then I went through the door, drew a vortex around the windstone and then flicked the Wii remote to make it fly through the doorway before the door closed. It was still on screen until I made it roll to the left ( it didn't even get to the very edge of the screen) and it just vanished . On the video it shows the windstone slowly rolling and then just vanishing before it even got to the edge of the screen . Then a bit further on from there, there is a door with a crystal in the middle, that you need the windstone to open, but because it had vanished I could not open that door and because I had removed the windstone off the first switch I mentioned, that door was closed too which blocked me into that section of the area. The only other ball was a boulder, but that can't open those doors with crystals in and it was on the wrong side to go on the switch to open the first door. Which meant I was trapped in that section of the area :(.

If my description doesn't help the short video I recorded with my webcam(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMDlKSHT5fY) does show exactly where the ball disappears and what I did to make the ball disappear (although the first few seconds are irrelevant to the game so it may need to be skipped a bit).

If that still doesn't help I'll play through the game again and find what part exactly it happens.

Thanks for replying so soon by the way :).

Ok, so you need to do the following:

Put the windstone on the pressure switch and leave it there, then exit the little area with toku and head upwards past the unlit torches.
Complete the puzzle in the area to bring fire back which burns the barrier away in the little room with a pull switch a windstone door and a rock. Then pull the switch to open the door and take the rock back with you to the right into the room with the windstone and the pressure switch.
Put the rock on the switch in place of the windstone, take the windstone back with you to the crystal door and use the windstone on the door. Then exit the area.

This happened to me also.

I got stuck so I went around the melodia city a second time around to see if I missed anything. Going down into the furnace room, I found that the windstone had not reset.

This means I'm stuck here coz I saved at the save point at the top of the slide in the previous room and there's a giant pile of rocks stopping me from going backwards. :(

No crazy cheat codes to get me out so I don't have to play the whole game again? Anyone?

Edit: sorry, this has been covered in other threads.
