Lots of Crashes Recently

Anyone else experiencing a plethora of crashes to desktop?

Three crashes just today, usually while conducting a system scan. Have been in Solo.

Specs:

• Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz
• GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
• SSD
• 32 GB RAM

I had 1 yesterday in the galaxy map when trying to set a carrier jump.

Tried it ... still crashed, during a system scan.
Will try restarting my machine and again verifying the files.

Restarted my machine and was able to finish the current mission without a crash - will head back out to the systems I partially scanned to see if I can finish without another CTD.

This just makes me want to play Horizons more.

Or, maybe they (FD) are just doing this so the next drop (which only CTDs half as much) will be seen as a huge improvement?

Restarting my machine stopped the constant crashes, so could have been a conflict with another application.

Yep, if you love the game, keep sending in those crash dumps. I'm sure they are looking at them.

a lots of times it is GPU control program.

Load Horizons. It's the only way to fix the game, turn off Odyssey until they finish the expansion. I didn't purchase a beta version.

That's what I have been doing this last week after one to many crashes.
Horizons runs smooth as butter, It also has far better AA and the Galaxy looks spectacular in comparison to Odyssey.
I am also appreciating flying in a cockpit that is lit realistically and not as if it's full daylight. I would though like the Galaxy map and Sys map from Odyssey in Horizons, I miss those.

Every time I try to view my Artemis or Maverick suits in a loadout menu I crash to desktop. Dominator and flight suits seem to be okay but this means I can't update or create new loadouts with those suits, upgrade them, buy them, or sell them.

I have a repeatable crash now. I bought a level 2 maverick suit that I found at a station. I do already have a level 1 mav suit. Now whenever I try to manage the loadout at a terminal, in my ship or at Pioneer, the game CTDs. Every time.

Yep, system map crash, terminals, loadouts, pioneer store, hangar, on-foot CZ. More CTDs in the last 24hrs than during the whole of update 5 for me, despite fresh install.
