I love PlanCo and when I saw PlanCo 2 was coming out and all the new features coming with it I shrieked in my car scaring my husband and kids thinking something terrible had happened. I was so excited I swear I teared a little. This game has been a safe space for me for a long time and given me a place to just do what I want and create what I want but there were things I missed out on from the first game that were now added to the second one. I finally got to play it and I love it but I hate to admit that it fell short and I absolutely hate bashing on something I love so much. The game is beautiful and love the creativity and how they made it a little easier to actually work in career mode because I could never make it through in the first game.
But what I saw and yes I know this is just the first release and only the first DLC release so I know there’s going to more added in the future. But I truly feel like it fell really short on the theming. I love the ideas of adding three new themes to the game but we could’ve gotten some pieces of the basic themes from the old game such as fantasy, spooky, western, holiday, just a couple of pieces. And I noticed we didn’t get any glass pieces like the first game where you had a solid 4m piece of glass that could be used as a roof, window, even cool flooring. Which really makes me hope they have something big planned for their DLCs or at least now they do because I saw in the only one upset about this. Big names in YouTube that play this have said that they want better theming in the next DLCs or hopefully a new update because we have gotten that in the past. I’m not expecting any of this to happen within the next few weeks even month. I’m sure we won’t see a new DLC till sometime next spring but hopefully they might already have something in the works and just wanted to put out what they already made as a base game so we had a feel for the game. Once again I love the game it reminds me of RCT3 with the water park and zoo expansion pack and I thought it was awesome for that kind of graphics so this is just amazing so far! I am very much looking forward to the new updates and the newest DLC and really really hope it’s a good theme and something we’ll all really want to use!
