Yes, the funeral ship was wanted today but all in the procession were clean. Every single one attacked when I went after the L9. Fun times.

I found one in an Anarchy system once that wasn't wanted. I boiled the blighter out of spite because I find so many of them when investigating the USS.

I'd love to find a few that are 'wanted' like you did just so I could nuke them without taking a penalty.

Actually, that was, in part, a sham. The second Death Star's superlaser was fully operational by design. The Emporer wanted it this way in order to bait the trap, luring the Rebel capital ships in to attack what they thought was an inert station still under construction, but which featured a new and improved weapon that could now take out their fleet, not just a planet.
