Love the AspE... hate the sound! Anything I can do about it?

Has anyone come up with a way to change or dampen the sounds made by the AspE? It's the perfect ship for much of what I do, I don't even mind how it looks, but... I can't stand the engine noise! I know some people love it, but for the rest of us... anything we can do?

Maybe we should be able to Engineer ship noises... :p

Do what I do. Sometimes, I hear a noise in my car. Maybe brakes squealing, belts slipping or loud bangs coming from the engine area. I turn my radio up and everything sounds like it's in tip top shape. :)

I have seen several - now and again - frown upon the sound of the Asp Explorer.
Which serves to remind what an odd fellow I am. [yesnod]
I think it sounds pretty good, truth be told. :)

I'm with ya, the sound is awful. I remember a thread a while back suggesting a setting whereby we could choose the sounds for our ship. But it was just an idea. There's nothing you can do, other than turn your sound down, or get used to it. Or buy another ship :)
