I've been playing Elite since 2013 in one form another but today I am playing Arena for the first time ever.

Wow. It is fantastic.

I am getting various important bits of my body handed to me in a bag...but it is great fun.

I am at Rank 3 now...yes, heady times!

Glad you are having fun :)

Top tip, full pips to shields when you are under fire (so long as you have enough power to fire your weapons anyway) it makes them 250% stronger (which is a big bonus in a Sidewinder)

Also great to encounter you in the arena Dana! I'm sure I've fought you there a few times myself - you're really good at this. :)

I dabbled in CQC on and off, but recently I've really started to get into it.

I was finally able to get into a few matches this morning, and also loved it. Any suggestions on best times to find a match? I'm in EST, and work during the day.

(Also, does anyone play CTF? Can't seem to ever get more than 2 people in matchmaking.)

Ditto. Started playing CQC a few weeks ago. Really like it. And what's great is that when you're killed, there's no insurance to pay... :)
