With rising reports of people 'tanking' a stations internal defences so they can sit inside and destroy all ships entering/leaving at will, I have a few suggestions that shouldn't be too hard to code, won't break the immersion and would be good content.

If a station detects numerous weapon fires within itself (that doesn't end with a quick boom as usually happens when station defences open fire), the station goes into emergency mode:

If a station detects numerous weapon fires within itself (that doesn't end with a quick boom as usually happens when station defences open fire), the station goes into emergency mode:
- The outside orbiting security vessels are ordered inside to deal with any wanted pilots
- The letterbox colour changes from blue to red to alert all pilots of a developing incident
- Internal defence lasers increase power of their shots
To supplement this, I would also:
- Add some larger ships to the orbiting security forces, such as an Adder or two for all stations
- Make any chaff fired within a station be swept up due to centrifugal force so it doesn't linger around the offending ship
