Low-value dormant bounties are a PITA

Should the timer of dormant bounties be influenced by the value of the bounty?

Came back with my Asp Scout from some minor Barny searching, went to my home station, got scanned and executed. Kinda weird as I had no bounties, dormant bounties or even a fine in a 100LY radius from where I was. Respawn at Maia, so get to fly back to the bubble again. Fun. I check my tab and see I now have a 800cr dormant bounty issues by the party that scanned and killed me. That shouldn't happen, the bounty should have been added to my insurance. But the timer of the dormant bounty is a full week. Apparantly there is no influence of the value on this timer. I dont want a dormant bounty for a week in my home system, its a risk everytime I dock. But hey, I can just shoot a security ship once and the bounty is increased, but the timer is reduced a lot. That's better, but how does it make sense?

How about having the dormant bounty timer be influenced by the value of the bounty so I dont have to shoot cops in the head to reduce my sentence? Yes? No? Why? :D

Pft, some idiot suicide bomber ran into me while parking at a Haz RES ( wanted to replenish my shields ). Since he had both under 10% Hull and Shield I got a Bounty for murder GRRR. In my newly found and well appreciated Hunting grounds no less.

Having to wait a week until I can safely do what I wanted to seriously p...ed me off.
