Lowest population systems.

So I was looking around a map of populated space the other night, mostly looking at the very edges of a bubble. Looking for systems with very specific requirements I have :D I've stumbled upon this. It says this system has 8(eight!) occupants, so the curiosity struck me - what is the system with least population? Obviously we are looking at anything that isn't zero ;)

Wow. 8 people. And I thought I had found a ridiculously low population system (HIP 80818) with its population of 62.

If someone finds lower than 8 I'd be amazed, honestly.

I saw a Pegasi Sector system with no stations or landable outposts with 7. I'd need to have a hunt around for it again. Need to look again because I was wondering if the populations actually increase over time.
I kinda hoped they might be survivors of some kind but I couldn't find any sign of life anywhere in the system.

You can easily find these systems using the gal map filters. Keep minimum population at two notches, max population around half way. The size of the system will be visually shown on the map (smaller the sphere, lower the population) There are quite a few with a population below 8

Check out XY Leonis - A whopping great 4 people live in that system.

Edit - HIP 90024 has 1 dude living in the system :/ Someone should drop of some Lavian brandy for the poor guy or girl

I went and had a look. Thought it might be the easiest system in the galaxy to flip.
But there are no stations or settlements that I could find, though I didn't scan everything. Planet 6 is a waterworld. I can picture the classic castaway on a tiny island with one palm tree.
